TNB Received the 'Risk Manager of the Year 2010'

TNB wishes to inform that it has received the 'Risk Manager of the Year 2010' award by the Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management (MARIM) at the MARIM annual conference held in Genting Highlands on 18 October 2011.
Haji Anuar Abd. Shukur, General Manager (Enterprise Wide Risk Management) who represented Mohamed Rafique Merican, Chief Financial Officer / Vice President (Finance Group) received the trophy and a voucher worth RM3,000.00.
With the theme ‘Risk Management: How effective are you?’, the Risk Manager of the Year 2010 award focused on the effectiveness of risk management by companies, including objectives and strategies in monitoring and improvement of risk management in day-to-day business activities.
With this award, TNB has successfully proven effective implementing a comprehensive risk management in TNB throughout a systematic, proactive and practical risk management framework.
Enterprise Wide Risk Management (EWRM) TNB first adopted the framework in 2003. Systematic TNB’s risk management training programs, maintenance and improvement are some of the advantages of TNB compared to other companies.
