Putrajaya - Centre for Stormwater & Geohazard Management (CSGM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) will be organizing the "Flood Forecasting & Warning System (FFWS) for Tropical Region" Seminar from 24 - 25 May 2010 at College of Information Technology (COIT), UNITEN. This seminar will be focusing on the exchange of knowledge, experiences, ideas and research results on all aspects of flood forecasting and warning systems, between four Asean countries under United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) projects. Besides Malaysia, other participating countries are Indonesia, Japan, Philippines and Vietnam. It will also highlight UNITEN as the education hub for research projects on water, flood forecasting and warning systems.
