TNB and industry-based NGOs (CIRED Malaysia, MNC-CIGRE, APQI Malaysia and IEEE Power & Energy Society) will be jointly organizing the T & D Asset Management Workshop as follows:
Date : 8 - 10 December 2010
Venue : Chorus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
A total of 34 papers will be presented over five (5) sessions covering asset management systems, strategies, enterprise-wide information system, asset management information system, lifecycle management of critical asset and related engineering methods, testing and maintenance, diagnostics and condition assessment/ diagnostic technologies for primary equipment.

In conjunction with this special event, the inaugural Asia Pacific Regional OWTS User Workgroup meeting will also be held at the same venue from 8 to 9 Dec 2010. This user workgroup meeting is jointly organized by TNB & SebaKMT, Germany. The purpose is to provide a platform for exchange of experiences, issues and solutions amongst users of OWTS technologies in partial discharge mapping of medium voltage underground cable systems in respective utility organization and other related condition assessment methods and technologies.
