TNB Hosts the 9th Asean Elenex 2011Print this page

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will host ASEAN Elenex 2011 (The 9th International Exhibition of Transmission & Distribution and Electrical Engineering for the Asean region) from 20 - 23 July at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The biennial show will also feature Renewable Energy in line with the government's commitment to reduce its dependence on fossil fuel energy sources.
TNB's Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Adelina Iskandar in her speech said that the exhibitions will serve as an excellent platform for the industry players to exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge in order to meet the energy needs of Malaysia and the region.
"The shows will provide value-added benefits for all players and end-users and encourage them to adopt the latest technologies to improve their performances. Regional industry players can also benefit from these exchanges and form smart partnerships with their counterparts from developed countries," she said.
"The presence of over 400 world-class companies will provide a boost to Malaysia's energy development initiatives as we will be able to access the latest cost-effective and energy-saving technologies and solutions for the electric and power sector," added Adelina.
Approximately 8,000 trade visitors across the region will have the opportunity to meet up with over 400 companies from 29 nations during this four-day event.
The organiser, Malaysian Exhibition Services will also hold the Asean Industrial Automation 2011 exhibition, the 6th series of the biennial event alongside AE 2011.
Director of Malaysian Exhibition Services, Y. Bhg. Dato' Azzat Kamaludin was also present at the press conference.
