Synopsis
This course offers an introductory overview of software agent technology. It provides the preliminary knowledge on how to build, implement, and execute agent-based software. In this course, Win-Prolog programming language is used. Win-Prolog contains a software module called Chimera, which handles the building and execution of software agents and multi-agent systems. In the practical session, hands-on guidance in using the Chimera module is provided. At the end of the course, participant should be able to understand the issues of software agent technology and to use Win-Prolog and Chimera as the agent development platform.
Duration
This is a 2-day course where participants will be involved in lectures and practical hands-on.
