TNB has an extensive geographic reach in Malaysia via a network that includes nine power stations. Wherever there is a TNB outpost, employees become integrated into the local community, and play their part to ensure the well-being of the people. The Company runs programmes such as Baiti Jannati, which aim to uplift the lives of the hardcore poor; it provides free medical check-ups; gets involved in gotong-royong projects; and engages with the community via dialogue, seminars and its annual Power Station Open Days. Through the Yayasan Tenaga Malaysia (YTN) foundation, the Company also contributes to the well-being of Malaysians by providing financial support to worthy causes.
