PINTAR

PINTAR – which stands for Promoting Intelligence, Nurturing Talent and Advocating Responsibility – is a collaborative school adoption programme initiated by Khazanah Nasional and implemented by government-linked companies to enhance the educational level and promote excellence among underserved school children throughout Malaysia.

TNB became a part of the programme in 2007 [year] and has since adopted 27 primary schools nationwide. To ensure the objectives of the programme are met, the Company has designated one officer in each state as its liaison officer and ment.or to the adopted schools. Activities under PINTAR aim at improving the children’s performance in the primary school leaving examination - the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR).

To date, more than 10,669 Year 6 students have benefitted from PINTAR at the schools adopted by TNB.
