Kuala Lumpur, 31 October 2006 – Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) would like to apologize to its customers for the interruption occurred of its customer Care Line 15454 service, for the past two days. Customers calling from mobile phones may not be connected to the operators on the first attempt. All TNB customers are advised to call the Care Line number at least twice to get through. The interruption is due to some technical errors with the service provider. Alternatively, TNB would like to advise customers to send power interruption reports through SMS to the Care Line 15454. Calls from fixed lines were also not affected. TNB and its service provider are still in the process of rectifying the problem. TNB understand that this incident can be very frustrating for its customers who wanted to make reports of power interruption. TNB appreciate its customers’ patience and would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused.
