Prof Datuk Dr Mashkuri Yaacob has been appointed Universiti Tenaga Nasional's (Uniten) third vice-chancellor. He was formerly deputy vice-chancellor (academic) and dean of the Computer Science and Information Technology Faculty at Universiti Malaya (UM). Prof Mashkuri replaces Datuk Prof Zainul Abidin Md Sharrif, who has retired.
