TNB Recognised As Asean Business Awards' Top Three In Employment CategoryPrint this page

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has been recognised as the top three most admired ASEAN company in Employment Category of the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2008, in a ceremony in Bangkok held in conjunction with the just-concluded ASEAN Summit. Participation was based on invitation only. TNB was invited to participate based on its excellent performance in 2007/2008. The panel of judges noted TNB's strong points in the area of Human Resource Planning, Performance Management System and the establishment of its own university, University of Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). Organised by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the ABA 2008 awards were presented during a gala dinner of the ASEAN Business & Investment Summit (ASEAN-BIS) on Feb 27, 2009. Dato' Abdul Razak bin Abdul Majid, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Muhammad Razif bin Abdul Rahman, Vice President of Human Resources were TNB's top management who were present at the ceremony. The ABA 2008 awards were conferred in four categories: Growth; Employment; Innovation; and Corporate Social Responsibility.
