Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) won the Certificate of Merit Award in the National Annual Corporate Report Awards (NACRA) 2009 at the award presentation ceremony held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur. NACRA is the collaborative effort of four credible institutions - Bursa Malaysia Berhad, Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) and The Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). The key objective of NACRA is to promote excellence in corporate reporting, and the awards are to acknowledge and recognise high quality corporate reporting. With the theme for this year "Towards Accountability and Excellence", NACRA is aimed at promoting greater and more effective financial and business communications by means of a timely, informative, factual and reader-friendly annual report. NACRA is open to all companies incorporated or registered in Malaysia as well as the public sector and other organisations established in Malaysia.
