If you have recently purchased or rented a house, and wish to register the TNB account in your name, you can go to a Pusat Khidmat Pelanggan near you to apply for a change of tenancy.

Required Documents

  • A copy of your Identity Card
  • Supporting documents declaring that the registration is to be made under your name. For example:
    • A valid tenancy agreement, duly stamped
    • A Letter of Consent from the owner of the premises AND Letter of Undertaking & Indemnity
    • Letter of Undertaking & Indemnity AND proof of occupancy at said premise, e.g. telephone bill, Astro bill, etc.
  • RM10.00 stamp duty
  • A two-month deposit
  • Application fee of RM3.00

Please note that you must be present to sign the Supply Contract Agreement with TNB. You may NOT appoint others to act on your behalf to change your TNB account name.
