Customers are required to write in officially and make an appointment for a final meter reading.

Account closures may only be done at TNB's Pusat Khidmat Pelanggan. Customers are required to go to the nearest Pusat Khidmat Pelanggan (address as stated in your TNB bill).

Required Documents

Customers are required to bring along the original receipt of the deposit, make payment of the last TNB bill and provide their new billing address in the form provided.

TNB will reimburse the deposit, if any, within two (2) months.

If the original receipt is misplaced, customers are required to fill in the Lost Deposit Receipt Declaration Form that can be obtained at our Pusat Khidmat Pelanggan.

If the registered owner is deceased, a next-of-kin may close the account and claim the deposit, but is required to produce the following documents:

  1. Death certificate of the deceased
  2. Stamp duty of RM10
  3. To fill up the Indemnity Bond Form (at Pusat Khidmat Pelanggan)
