Southern Power Generation Sdn. Bhd. named MARC’s Project Financing of the Year 2017

Southern Power Generation Sdn Bhd (SPG), a 51 per cent subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has been recognized as the recipient of the 'Project Financing of the Year 2017' award at the Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC 2017) Lead Managers League Table Awards.

This recognition was based on SPG's success in issuing the Sukuk Wakalah in October last year worth RM3.7 billion to finance the development of the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Track 4A with a capacity of 1,440 megawatts (MW) in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
