Its President/Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Azman Mohd said the body will look into the effect of such development and their impact on the dams and their integrity over the long term. TNB’s main dams are the Sultan Abu Bakar dam at Ringlet, the Sungai Perak dam, Pergau dam and Kenyir dam.

Azman said that as a caring company, TNB will contribute RM200,000 in aid to victims of the mud flow. This aid will be channelled through the state disaster relief fund that is being coordinated by the Pahang welfare department, he added in a statement.
