TNB’s Dam to Prevent Big Disaster

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has made preparations for the monsoon season to provide for all three of its hydroelectric stations, in line with the function of the two dams as flood mitigation”, said the Chief Generation Officer of TNB, lr. Roslan Abd Rahman.

“Other than generating electric, TNB’s dams have the capacity to reserve water from the upstream to prevent even bigger disaster from happening in downstream area every time monsoon season arrives,” he explained.
