TNB’s Third Ultra-Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Plant Project Achieved National Grid Connectivity

Unit 1 of Jimah East Power Sdn Bhd’s Coal-Fired Power Plant in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan has successfully achieved first synchronisation on 10th December 2018. Jimah East Power is a 70 percent subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

The first synchronisation means the generator of Unit 1 has been synchronised to the grid and commenced supplying electricity to the Malaysian grid system for the first time. This is a major milestone towards the unit completion.
