TNB’s Inaugural Energy Transition Conference Revitalises Calls for International Collaboration
The inaugural Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) Energy Transition (ET) Conference 2023 has re-energised the clarion call for international collaboration to accelerate energy transition (ET). Underscoring the importance of this partnership, Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim said, “Collective efforts can drive positive change for a cleaner and more sustainable future.”
“By working together, we can leverage our collective strengths to accelerate the deployment of renewable technologies, the development of innovative energy storage solutions, and the enhancement of energy efficiency practices. Malaysia's strategic position as the ASEAN Energy Hub enables us to play a pivotal role in advancing the region's sustainable energy future towards Net Zero ASEAN.”
Noting TNB’s progress in the cross-border business and on leveraging the ASEAN Power Grid, he said this would improve broader energy security prospects and further enhance regional economic integration.
