Green Electricity Tariff 2024 Subscription Will Be Available From 3rd May 2024

We would like to bring to your attention on the announcement made by YAB Dato' Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) on 8 April 2024 regarding Green Electricity Tariff (GET) programme for 2024. Key highlights for GET 2024 are:

• 6,600 GWh GET quota will be made available for subscription at a premium rate of:
  - 10 sen/kWh for all domestic consumers and low voltage non-domestic consumers;
  - 20 sen/kWh for medium voltage & high voltage non-domestic consumers.


• GET subscribers will not be charged Imbalance Cost Pass-Through (ICPT) for the Green Electricity subscribed.


• GET 2024 will be available for subscription on a first-come, first-served basis from 3 May 2024 onwards via myTNB portal.


• Consumers have the option to backdate their subscription to start from 1 January 2024 (option available for subscription made from 3-31 May 2024).


• Lock-in period for GET subscription is until 31 December every year and will be automatically renewed each year should there be no request for termination of subscription.
