Record Breaking 1TNB Family Day 2013

A record breaking number of 30,500 families thronged Tenaga Nasional Berhad 2013 Family Day, held concurrently in 54 locations throughout the Peninsula on Saturday.

TNB Family Day is customarily organised on different days and at separate locations in each states to promote the spirit of togetherness among the company’s workforce.

By holding it on a single day, 1TNB Family Day 2013 was declared by the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest simultaneous family day event in the country.

TNB President/Chief Executive Officer Y. Bhg. Datuk Seri Ir. Azman Mohd received a certificate to mark this historical event from Malaysia Book of Records Chief Executive Officer, Abdul Aziz Hamdan

Datuk Seri Ir. Azman described 1TNB Family Day as a one big family gathering of the various entities in TNB.

“A strong and cordial 1TNB spirit is the foundation for higher productivity,” he said at TNB Kelab Kilat, Bangsar where 1TNB Family Day was held at headquarters level. Also present were TNB Chairman Y. Bhg Tan Sri Leo Moggie, board members and top management.

The bi-annual event is a popular, fun and free event for TNB employees and their family members as it caters for all ages with games, music, comedy, sports and lots more.

It has been one of the many platforms for management and staff to mingle with each other under a clear blue sky in a celebrative mood and affection for the company.
