Reduction In ICPT Surcharge Rate for Street Lighting Effective 1 March - 30 June 2024

The Ministry of Energy Transition & Water Transformation (PETRA) has approved a reduction in the ICPT surcharge rate for street lighting categories (tariff category G & G1) managed by Local Authorities, effective from 1 March 2024 to 30 June 2024. The surcharge rate will decrease from 17sen/kWh to 10sen/kWh during this period and eligible street lighting accounts are based on a list that has been verified by the Government.
