TNB Strengthens Regional Presence Through Power and Water Sector Collaboration in GCC

In conjunction with the 46th ASEAN–GCC Summit 2025, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), through its wholly owned subsidiary TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. (TNB REMACO) has announced a landmark joint venture to further strengthen its presence in the Gulf region.
During the summit, TNB REMACO formalised a new strategic Joint Venture (JV) Partnership with Al-Dhow Engineering General Trading & Contracting Co. W.L.L. of Kuwait, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU outlines collaboration in the power and water distillation sector within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region for two (2) years, which includes Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
A document-exchange ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 26 May 2025, witnessed by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, and YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
