TNB’s Strategic Alliances with Trina Solar to Propel Clean Energy Solutions Forward

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) continues its momentum in driving sustainable energy transition with a strategic alliance between its wholly-owned subsidiary, GSPARX Sdn Bhd, and Trina Solar, the leading global PV and smart energy total solutions provider.

The formalisation of this partnership, marked by the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Managing Director of GSPARX, Elmie Fairul Mashuri, and General Manager - Southeast Asia, Trina Solar Energy Development, Elva Wang, in the presence of Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad who then was the Minister of Natural Resources, Environment & Climate Change (NRECC), is a significant step towards leveraging solar power solutions, encompassing rooftop, floating, and ground-mounted systems.

“This alliance highlights our unwavering commitment to accelerating Malaysia's energy transition goals," emphasized TNB President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Seri Ir. Baharin Din. "Our partnership with Trina Solar is pivotal in harnessing Malaysia’s solar potential and driving us closer to achieving Net Zero 2050 through sustainable practices."
