Tenaga Nasional Berhad has signed an agreement for the purchase of electricity generated by a small RE (Renewable Energy) power project developed by Achi Jaya Plantations Sdn. Bhd. Under the SREP Program (Small Renewable Energy Program). The SREP Program was launched by the Governement in May 2001 to promote the utilisation of renewable energyy in power generation and to reduce emission of greenhouse gases. The signing of this REPPA (RE Power Purchase Agreement) demonstrates the continuous support given by TNB for the success of the Government’s SREP Program.
