EXECUTIVE (BUSINESS ENTERPRISE)

1 vacancy - Legal Services Department Responsibilities: The successful incumbents will:

   
• Train and supervise the executives in drafting of legal documentation and related services.*
 
• Providing advisory to TNB Group of Companies and assistance to the management of TNB Group of Companies on legal and corporate/commercial matters, in particular in acquisitions, joint-ventures, co-operations, disposals, deal structuring legal/regulatory compliance as well as financing related matters.
 
• Understand the nature of the business and commercial practices of the TNB Group of Companies and to provide effective advice and support to the particular division.
 
• Co-ordinate deliverables of external legal counsel and reduce reliance on external legal counsels for advice and drafting of documentation typically required in the areas of acquisitions, disposals and undertaking of projects.
 
• Providing other legal services as may be required or instructed by the Senior General Manager from time to time.

* Manager (Business Enterprise) only Requirements: The prospective candidate should:

   
• Possess a good degree in Law (LLB) from recognized higher learning institutions and certified by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)/ Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
 
• Have a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience for managerial level and 3 to 5 years for executive level in projects and project finance work relating to major infrastructure, preferably in the power and energy sector.
 
• A self-starter with an innate drive for achievement, a high degree of integrity, independent and possess good quality leadership skills, ability in managing change, strong analytical, planning and organising skills as well as excellent interpersonal.
 
• Have the ability to communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written).

Familiar with basic laws and regulations e.g. laws of contract, sale of goods and Bursa Listing Requirement

HEAD OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

1 vacancy - ILSAS Responsibilities: The successful incumbents will:

   
• Report directly to the Managing Director, TNB Integrated Learning Solutions Sdn. Bhd. - ILSAS.
 
• Develop and ensure Leadership Development training products and services meet customer requirements and stay relevant to organizational needs.
 
• Provide advisory & consultancy to the customer on a range of leadership and talent management services.
 
• Capable to meet the company’s target revenue with prudent spending.
 
• Plan, conduct and/or co-ordinate training programs.
 
• Implement and internalize quality culture and best practices within the organization.
 
• Provide learning & development opportunities in enhancing performance and competency of subordinates.

Requirements: The prospective candidate should:

   
• Possess a Degree in any related field from recognized higher learning institutions and certified by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)/ Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
 
• Possess at least 7 years working experiences in leadership and management development tasks.
 
• Has strong leadership skills and able to meet or exceed the business target set by management.

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

1 vacancy - TNB Energy Services Sdn. Bhd. Responsibilities: The successful incumbents will be responsible for civil works inclusive of structural and engineering design of Hybrid Electricity Generation, Mini Hydro Station and their related maintainance works. Other responsibilities include:

   
• Site Survey and selection
 
• Liaison with local authority on site acquisition and other related matters
 
• Liaison with Consultant
 
• Consult with management team concerning operational and design requirement
 
• Coordinate design and planning work in consultation with project manager
 
• Able to plan, organize, oversee and manage construction project towards achieving technical goal and schedules
 
• Checking and organizing technical team to conduct site survey/testing
 
• Checking draft tender / evaluate tender on civil related work
 
• Able to work closely with project manager and prepare progress report periodically to project director.
 
• Conversant in with building by laws and able to liaise with local authority
 
• Assist, monitor and coordinate pre, during and post-construction on civil, M&E related works

Requirements: The prospective candidate should:

   
• Possess a good degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering/Management from recognized higher learning institutions and certified by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)/ Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
 
• Have a minimum of 7 -10 years of experience with a civil engineering firm, and/or property development or construction company
 
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in the design and construction of public infrastructure and land development projects.
 
• Knowledge and experience in project management, control and management is a must.
 
• Excellent communication skills
 
• Able to work with stakeholders, municipal officials, contractors, consultants, service providers and developers
 
• Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Projects is required, experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, scheduling systems, etc.
 
• Able to work independently and with strong self motivation
 
• Flexible and able to multi-task; and work in a fast moving environment

PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER :

• Provide leadership to a team of researchers.
 
• Develop niche areas that are aligned to TNBR short, medium and long term strategy.
 
• Develop research facilities that are in-line with TNBR strategic goals.
 
• Manage research facilities to ensure appropriate return on their investment.
 
• Provide mentoring to researchers.
 
• Lead researchers in:
   
  • The development of research project proposals
   
  • securing necessary funding for the research projects
   
  • The implementation of the research projects

   

• Ensure timely delivery of the research projects within the specified budget and meeting the expected level of quality.
• Prepare and compile reports for submission to customers.
• Present and publish research findings to appropriate technical communities and journals.

Requirements: The prospective candidate should:

   
• Possess a good Master/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology or Industrial Science or Electrical/ Electronic/ Communication Engineering from recognized higher learning institutions and certified by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)/ Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
 
• Experience in the area of work related to each position is an added advantage.
 
• Able to work independently or in groups.
