Mydin Holdings The First Chain Retailer to Install Solar

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) through GSPARX Sdn Bhd sealed a Supply Agreement for Renewable Energy (SARE) with Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Mydin) last week, to install solar PV on the rooftop of Mydin Mall Manjoi, Ipoh, Perak.

The 324 kilowatt-peak (kWp) solar rooftop photovoltaic (PV) is expected to generate up to RM 3.24 million in electricity bill savings within the project’s 25-year duration.

Mydin Holdings hopes the agreement could spark similar venture between both parties, going forward.
