TNB Forges Collaborations with HUAWEI and RHB, to Accelerate ET through Digitalisation

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Malaysia’s leading provider of sustainable energy solutions marks a significant step forward in its unwavering commitment to propel Malaysia towards achieving Net Zero 2050. These efforts are bolstered by key partnerships with two formidable players in digital transformation and green financing solutions respectively.

In an effort to accelerate the shift towards sustainable energy, TNB has inked two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The first, with Huawei Malaysia, is geared to unlock the potential of green energy solutions, while the second, with RHB Banking Group, aims to expedite the adoption of renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) solutions among small and medium enterprises (SME) and individuals through green financing solutions.

TNB’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato' Seri Ir. Baharin Din underlined the alignment of these partnerships with the strategic goals outlined in the NETR he stated, “Through these initiatives, TNB is not just envisioning a sustainable future but actively constructing it.”
