Prime Minister of Malaysia Officiates New TNB Building in Seberang Perai, Penang

Tenaga Nasional Berhad celebrated an important milestone on Monday, 3 Mac 2008 with the officiating ceremony of its new building, Wisma TNB Seberang Jaya in Seberang Perai, Penang by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi. The RM 100 million building houses the North Eastern Regional Control Centre (NERCC) which is the nerve of TNB’s system for the northern states of Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Penang and also for the eastern states of Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang. Present were Penang Chief Minister, Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, TNB Chairman, Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Leo Moggie, TNB President/CEO, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh and heads of the various departments and state government agencies in the country.
