TNB exceeds expectations

The result came in above market expectations and ours. The increase in year-on-year (y-o-y) turnover reflected the electricity tariff increase last year. Electricity sales growth grew 14.2% y-o-y (1QFY06:8%) despite a 2% increase in units sold in 1QFY07.
