TNB Launches Whistle Blowing Information System - Online Channel For Complaints

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) marked an important milestone yesterday, 14 August 2008 with the launching of the Whistle Blowing Information System (WBIS), an online channel for complaints at Wisma TNB, Petaling Jaya. The whistle blowing procedure in TNB was first introduced in July 2007. WBIS allows public and TNB staff to make complaints of any misappropriation of funds, abuse of power and corruption. All complaints can be made without any charges through our TNB website (wbis.tnb.com.my) or toll-free hotline 1-800-888-862. All complaints received are strictly confidential and will be handled by the Internal Affairs Department in TNB. Present at the launching ceremony were TNB Chairman, Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Leo Moggie, TNB President/CEO, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, TNB Board members, TNB top management and representatives from the government departments.
