UNITEN Awards Two Honorary Doctorate Degrees at 9th Convocation Ceremony

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) will present two honorary doctorate degrees in its 9th Convocation Ceremony this Saturday, April 21, 2007. In recognition of their outstanding services and contributions towards the establishment and success of UNITEN, Tan Sri Ani Arope will receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Management and Profesor Dr. Oner Yurstseven will be awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Engineering. The two honorary degrees will be awarded prior to the conferring of 400 students’ degree and diplomas by UNITEN’s Chancellor, TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman Haji Abbas. Since its inception in 1997, UNITEN has become one of the leading universities in Malaysia, and has to date produced more than 8000 graduates.
