UNITEN Signs MoU With SIDC And ACCA

In line with global demands for market ready graduates produced by higher learning institutions, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accounting (ACCA) on May 25, 2007. The MoU will be signed by Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mashkuri Yaacob Vice Chancellor of UNITEN, Dr. Nik Ramlah Mahmood Director of SIDC and Mr. Tay Kay Luan, Director, Asean and Australiasa, ACCA. These partnerships with professional bodies and organizations is seen as one of the efforts to pave the way to enhance relationship between the industry and the academia and also to increase the availability of skilled graduates in meeting the increasing global market demand.
