No disconnection of electricity supply for residential customers until 31 March 2021

In our efforts to continue helping customers during the challenging period following the COVID-19 pandemic, TNB has partnered with the Malaysia Government to implement the following initiatives that would benefit almost 7 million residential customers (Domestic Tariff-A) in Peninsular Malaysia:

  • No disconnection of electricity supply for a period of 3 months (1 January 2021 - 31 March 2021) for customers with arrears not exceeding 6 months; and
  • Easy Payment Plan (EPP) will continue to be offered until 30 June 2021, where residential customers have the option to pay the electricity bill in monthly installments.

Other customers who are also affected can consult with TNB to arrange payment in installments to reduce their financial burden and prevent disconnection of the electricity supply.
