TNB Research Sdn. Bhd., fondly known as TNBR has been in-house solution provider for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) since 1993. As a Research & Development (R&D) Centre, TNBR provide a centralized, one-stop center for technical solutions and innovation.

While continuing the efforts on operational improvement initiatives in TNB, TNB Research is now are embarking on various Advanced Research projects in positioning TNB to be an early adopter of promising technologies.

In 2012, TNBR established its own subsidiary, TNB Labs Sdn. Bhd. formerly known as TNBR QATS to focus on delivering World Class Services to industries.

TNB ILSAS is the premier training institution in Malaysia. It is the official training institute for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). TNB ILSAS has nurtured the human capital of Malaysia’s Electric Supply Industry (MESI) for over 40 years.

Established in 1978 and incorporated as a subsidiary of TNB later in 2008, TNB ILSAS’s strong affiliation with the largest power utility in Malaysia makes it a first-rate training provider and an authority many organizations turn to for consultations and services.

The training modules in ILSAS are also accredited by City & Guilds UK (for the technical programs), and Institute Leadership & Management (ILM) UK (for the leadership & management training modules)
