This Code of Business Ethics (COBE) applies to all Directors and Employees at all levels.
The Board and Management is committed to promoting good business conduct and maintaining a healthy corporate culture that engenders integrity, transparency, and fairness.
The standards defined are to be used as reference and general guidelines. It is not intended to supersede any TNB’s procedures, rules and regulations, or any applicable legal or regulatory requirements. In the event of any inconsistency, TNB’s procedures, rules and regulations, or any applicable legal or regulatory requirements shall prevail.
This COBE provides guidance on the standards of behaviour expected of all Directors and Employees of TNB, and where applicable, Business Associates. The standards of behaviour are derived from TNB’s Core Values, TNB’s Policies, Disciplinary Procedure, regulatory and legislative provisions.
At TNB, we are committed to operate and grow in a sustainable manner, while providing reliable and affordable energy, and its related services.
The COBE is prepared in English and national language (Bahasa Malaysia). In the event of a conflict, the English version shall prevail.
This COBE should be a reference whenever you have any question regarding ethical and appropriate conduct, or compliance. The COBE is also made available on the Integrity Department’s website accessible via TNB Intranet and TNB website.
