TNB Bridges the Digital Gap in Perak Through Allo

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) through its fully-owned subsidiary, Allo Technology Sdn Bhd (Allo) further expands its access to High Speed Broadband (HSBB) connectivity to the rakyat that now connects 56,132 homes at six locations in Perak.

This achievement establishes over 180,000 premises in Malacca, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Johor to be part of the network facility, in support of Jalinan Digital Negara (JENDELA) plan to bridge the digital gap among the rakyat, particularly those living in rural areas.

Started with a project that had connected 17,000 homes in Malacca, Allo is now actively striving to deliver the fiber optic network infrastructure in six additional states that are part of the completion target involving 300,000 premises in Peninsular Malaysia by end of this year.
