UNITEN Receives Syariah Perspective MS1900:2005 Certification from SIRIM Berhad

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) has once again been awarded the Syariah Perspective MS1900:2005 certification by SIRIM Berhad. Prof. Ir. Dr. Ibrahim Hussein, UNITEN’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), was on hand to accept the certification presented by Yg. Bhg. Datuk Haji Fadillah Yusof, the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation, in a ceremony held at Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (IKIM).

UNITEN is the first university in Malaysia to have all its campuses and business units certified as being syariah compliant. This is indeed yet another outstanding achievement by UNITEN in its effort to inculcate positive and virtuous values among its staff. 

It is hoped that this success will further drive the staff of UNITEN to perpetuate the highest quality of service in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
