TNB wins 4 awards at National Labour Day 2007 Celebrations

Tenaga Nasional Berhad was again awarded ‘Anugerah Harapan Majikan Berdaya Saing (Industri Besar)’ at The National Labour Day 2007 Celebration. Y.Bhg. Dato’ Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, the President/CEO received the award from the Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Other recipients of awards were Mr. Mohamad bin Harun, Senior Technician from Distribution Division, for the ‘Anugerah Tokoh Pekerja Lelaki (Kumpulan Bukan Eksekutif)’, Dr. Ir Zahrul Faizi bin Hussien, Senior Lecturer from UNITEN for the ‘Anugerah Harapan Tokoh Pekerja Lelaki (Kumpulan Eksekutif)’ and Mr. Shariffudin K Abdullah, Senior Technician from Transmission Division for the ‘Anugerah Harapan Tokoh Pekerja Lelaki (Kumpulan Bukan Eksekutif)’. The National Labour Day 2007 celebration was held on 5th May 2007, Saturday, in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. It was attended by more than 10,000 workers from Government agencies, private agencies, Statutory Bodies and Government Departments. TNB was represented by 120 staff comprising of TNB’s senior management, society/union leaders and representatives from various divisions. The celebration was livened up by Kilat Combo TNB and a special performance by Najib Hanif, ITO, Ani Mahyuni.
